The retreat

A compact golf escape based entirely at a five-star resort: the Tour Course and the Stadium Course, three dinners, a private guided afternoon in Girona and a third round if your flight allows.

One resort, two championship courses and four days. Your group stays at Hotel Camiral, close to the first tee, plays the Tour Course as an opening round and the Stadium Course as the defining round of the trip, and spends one evening in Girona.

It is the simplest of the three retreats to book and to enjoy: a clear base programme, with optional extras for the days and afternoons your group wants to fill.

Highlights

  • The Stadium Course, announced as the venue of the 2031 Ryder Cup
  • Dinner every evening: Camiral Bistro, a Catalan dinner in Girona and the Origin restaurant
  • A private guided visit through Girona’s old town and Jewish Quarter

The rhythm

A light structure, carefully held

A typical shape for the days. Everything can be moved to suit your group.

  1. Day 1

    Arrival and welcome

A private airport transfer, check-in at the five-star hotel and time to settle in. Welcome dinner at Camiral Bistro. A warm-up on the range or short-game area can be arranged on request.

  2. Day 2

    Tour Course and Girona

Breakfast and an 18-hole round on the Tour Course. Lunch is at leisure; the Club Café in the clubhouse is a good choice. In the afternoon, a private transfer to Girona and a guided visit through the old town and the Jewish Quarter, then a Catalan dinner at Restaurant Tomàquet, set in a traditional masia.

  3. Day 3

    The Stadium Course

Breakfast and an 18-hole round on the Stadium Course, the signature moment of the trip. The afternoon is yours, with dinner at Origin, which serves a contemporary menu built on Catalan produce. Origin opens seasonally: if it is closed, an equivalent premium dinner is arranged within the resort.

  4. Day 4

One last round, or a slow morning

Breakfast and check-out. Depending on flight times, a third round can be added at extra cost, or you can spend the morning at the wellness centre or over coffee beside the course. A private transfer takes you to the airport.

Questions

Is this an official Ryder Cup package?

This is an independent Golf Holiday Breaks programme. It is not an official Ryder Cup package, and Golf Holiday Breaks has no affiliation with the Ryder Cup.

What if the Origin restaurant is closed?

Origin opens seasonally. If it is closed on your dates, an equivalent premium dinner is arranged within the resort.

Can the programme be changed for our group?

Yes. Each retreat is a starting point. We can add or remove days, change the courses, simplify the programme or add private extras, and we will price what you actually want.

Are these retreats open to individual travellers?

They are built for private groups: clubs, friendship groups, communities and corporate teams. Tell us who is travelling and we will say whether the programme fits or what would work better.

What does joining the waitlist involve?

Places are deliberately small in number. The waitlist is a no-obligation way to hear about dates and prices first and to tell us what you would want from the trip. Nothing is booked until you have accepted a final proposal.

How is the price worked out?

Per person, from your group size, dates, room set-up and the extras you choose. Prices are confirmed with our partner before we quote them, so we will not give you a figure we cannot stand behind.

Are flights included?

No. Flights are not part of any of these retreats. We can look at flights alongside the programme if you would like us to.
